Why we create
I've been doodling floral patterns for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Brazil, I was surrounded by color, nature, and a culture that celebrates beauty in everyday moments, from tiles to vibrant textiles. That sense of joy and expression is built within me.
When I moved to the United States, I brought that Brazilian warmth and vibrancy with me. I found myself drawing the same leafy, floral doodles in my notes, on scrap paper, anywhere… It was my way of finding moments of calm in the chaos of building a new life.
Eventually, I realized: these patterns made me happy. And maybe they could make others happy too.
That's how Pali Company was born – through the natural pouring out that happens from me. A way to share what brings me joy, and to help others surround themselves with beauty that is personal, vibrant, and full of heart.
Why patterns
Patterns are more than decoration to me. They're a language. A way to infuse ordinary objects with meaning and emotion.
Every Pali pattern starts as a hand-drawn sketch, inspired by nature and the small moments that make life beautiful: a flower blooming, morning light through leaves, the colors of a sunset. I work with paint and ink, layering detail and movement until the pattern feels alive.
